The Cross-Country Area

The village Mellau lies at 700 meters above sea level in the Bregenz Forest. The cross-country ski runs are connected with the cross-country ski runs of the municipality Schnepfau - so there are about 23 kilometres of classic cross-country ski runs and 10 kilometres of skating trails available.

The degree of difficulty ranges from easy to medium. Use of the trails is free of charge. The "Kanisfluh" cross-country ski trail with access to the new Mellaubahn is particularly attractive in terms of landscape.

The ski school Mellau offers Cross-country courses for beginners and advanced skiers in classic and skating style.
