The Cross-Country Area
There are the gently rolling tracks , that somewhere run through the wonderful woods of the Ampezzo Natural Park. These tracks are suitable even for the beginners wishing the satisfaction of skiing some kilometres along a circuit with some technical parts: "Pian de Ra Spines" and "Pian de Loa " circuits.
Besides, there are the bends, the technical ascents and descents of the 4 different loops (2, 3, 5, 7.5 Km) of the "3G" sports track, that represent the best ground to test one´s physical fitness and technical ability as well as to train in the wonderful scenery at the foot of Monte Pomagagnon, both for expert skiers and athletes.
There is the classic track on the former "railway route" with regular and gentle inclination. This 30-Km long itinerary connects Cortina d´Ampezzo to Dobbiaco over Passo Cimabanche, half-way on the route on the highest point of this exceptional panoramic track. Its renown is mainly due to the "Dobbiaco - Cortina" the long distance cross-country event.
