The Cross-Country Area
Kleinwalsertal has five classical cross-country-courses ready with a total of 42km in length, and ranging from a height of 1050m to 1260m. For Skaters, the Steinbockloipe, in the area of Bödmen, has a loop of around 5 km that has been prepared for you. No Course-fee with the guest card! For you as a guest in the valley - as a holder of the Kleinwalsertal guest card - the use of the cross-country-course is free (Please show card on request). Without the guest card the course-fee is EUR 5,- /day - daily-tickets can purchased from Card machines at the entrance to the Cross Country courses. Minimum requirement for safe cross-country-skiing is to be able to control the snow plough. An introduction course by the one of the ski schools is recommended. Cross-country-equipment can be hired in the ski rental shops. The courses are prepared daily. Please understand that for safety reasons the courses cannot be prepared during the day (e.g. when it´s snowing). All cross-country-courses are attainable with the walserbus - you must pay to use the parking lots.
