The Cross-Country Area
In Levi you will find one of the best cross-country skiing spots in Finland. There are 230 kilometres of trails here, suitable for all levels. They are groomed for both classic and skating. There is usually enough snow for cross-country skiing even at the beginning of May.
There are 28 kilometres of trails in the Rakkavaara area, which are lit daily from 6 am to 11 pm. The small trail-side cafés are open in large numbers, especially in spring.
It is forbidden to enter the trails on foot or by bicycle. However, you can take your leashed dog cross-country skiing on designated trails.
