The Cross-Country Area
The Nickel Plate Nordic Centre is located in the picturesque Okanagan Valley and offers cross-country skiers 27 trails with a total of 56 prepared kilometres of trails for all levels. All trails are suitable for both classic and skating styles. You can rent the necessary equipment directly on site and cross-country skiing courses are also offered.
Other great extras are the programmes for adults, school classes and children. Beginners and advanced skiers have the opportunity to get tips and suggestions from professional cross-country skiers. Children and young people are introduced to cross-country skiing in a playful way. An additional highlight are the 22 kilometres of marked snowshoe hiking trails.
