The Cross-Country Area
Kubínska near Dolný Kubín is beautifully situated in the Orava region and offers great views of the Tatra Mountains and the Big and Small Fatra. The Ski Park Kubínska in the northwest of Slovakia offers not only slopes but also possibilities for cross-country skiing.
A total of 10 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails are available here. At the Hotel Green there is a 500-metre long circular track. There is also a circular trail starting at the summit at the top station of the chair lift. For longer tours, the 10 kilometre Bežkárska Trail above the SkiBar, to the left of the C and D ski lifts, awaits cross-country skiers.
In addition, there is a 3.6 km long ascent for ski tourers with the Skialp Trasa.

Getting Here
By car
To get to the Ski Park, you first drive to Dolný Kubín, which you reach via the E50. Shortly before you enter the village, turn left onto Zochova Street, which leads to Beňovolehotská. Follow the road to the ski park. Here you will find a large free parking lot.
By public transport
There is also a railway station in Dolný Kubín. The airport in Žilina Hričovf is about 70 kilometres away.
