Experience 37 kilometres of immaculately groomed and trackset trails, prepared to high standards thanks to our modern Pisten Bully Groomer equipped with a Yellowstone Tracksetter.
We make the most of your Nordic day by providing you the added convenience of accessing the Nordic ski trails right from the doorstep of your hotel or vacation chalet.
For a truely unique experience, ride the Morrisey Chairlift to access the Holy Cow trail for scenic mountain views. And for those looking to satisfy their sense of adventure, discover an additional 14 kilomtres of ungroomed backcountry Nordic trails. While out on the trails, the McGillivray Lake Outpost warming hut is a great place for a pit stop.
Interesting facts
- Located at 1,589 m above sea level, the Cross-Country Skiing Area is among the 10 highest elevated Cross-Country Skiing Areas in Canada.
- Snow coverage is usually best during April, offering an average snow depth of 252 cm at summit elevation and 206 cm at the base. Therefore Sun Peaks Resort is among the 10 cross-Country Skiing Areas with best snow conditions in Canada.
Getting Here
By car:
Take Highway 5 Norht and take the exit Tod Mountain Road at Heffley Creek.
By shuttle bus:
Shuttle buses are available at the airports in Kamloops (50 minutes), Kelowna (2 hours 45 minutes) and Vancouver (5 hours).
