The Hotel Goldener Berg directly on the ski slope in Oberlech the sunny plateau.
Removed from everyday life, at an altitude of 1,700 m, you will naturally experience ski in - ski out in winter at the Goldener Berg. Free of crowds, right in front of the hotel on the slopes and off you go - that's been the Goldene Berg for over 100 years. But the same goes for exercise in the winter nature without skis! Directly from the hotel there are many kilometers of magnificent hiking trails, cross-country skiing trails or Nordic walking as well as jogging trails, which are perfectly prepared every day and are all sports in beautiful nature, which can be learned quickly and bring a lot of joy to the heart. Likewise, the mountain panorama covered by snow, around the Hotel Goldener Berg, is a perfect backdrop for mediation, alpine bathing, hearts and tidal walks.

The Arlberg ski area is one of Europe's most beautiful and largest winter sports areas. With 88 mountain railroads and lifts, 305 kilometers of groomed slopes and more than 200 kilometers of untracked powder snow and firn slopes, the Arlberg ski area lives up to its world reputation in every respect.
And the very best: Our ski hotel is located directly on the slopes!
Tip: Take advantage of the early hour and make your first descent in your ski vacation on the Arlberg at the Hotel Goldener Berg before breakfast, even before the ski lifts are in operation! The mountain railroad to Oberlech is already running from 7.00 am!

Recharge your batteries with a relaxing winter hike through the crunching snow and let yourself be enchanted by the dream panorama directly in front of the Hotel Goldener Berg. Getting here
The journey in summer:
You can drive up to the Golden Mountain, parking facilities are available on site.
The arrival in winter:
Since Oberlech is car-free in winter, please drive directly to the Oberlech mountain railroad. There you unload your luggage, we bring the suitcases for you to your room.
You can park your car directly opposite the cable car in the underground car park Anger, we will gladly validate your parking ticket at the hotel.
The cable car will take you to the Golden Mountain, which can be reached by a short walk.
