In the heart of the Ötztal Alps in the so-called mountaineering village Vent, you can find our Natur- & Alpinhotel Post. The family-run hotel is the perfect home away from home for mountain lovers in winter and summer. From the Vent ski resort, you can ski directly to the front door of our hotel. The resorts of Sölden and Obergurgl/Hochgurl are located only a 20-minute drive away. If you're keen to experience some off-slope adventures, then you will enjoy the numerous ski touring possibilities Vent has to offer. In summer, our hotel is the ideal starting point for varied excursions into the Tyrolean mountains.

Swim in our “little mountain lake” and relax in our sauna village
After an active day in the nature you can relax in our sauna village, equipped with a Finnish sauna, steam bath, a Swiss-stone-pine sauna, a relax room and a tea bar. Or you can swim in our indoor pool made of granite from the Ötztal valley which we call our “little mountain lake”. By the way: we are the only 4-star hotel in Vent with an indoor pool.

The Similaun mountain hut and the Hochjoch-Hospiz
Two mountain huts in the region, the Similaun mountain hut at 3,019 m and the Hochjoch-Hospiz at 2,413 m, are run by members of the host family. Visit these mountain huts during your stay at the hotel and enjoy the typical Tyrolean hospitality.

Getting here
From south/east
Take the Brennero/Brenner highway towards Brennero/Brenner, following the A22/A13, then the E45. At the highway junction in Innsbruck, take the A12 and follow the signs towards Switzerland/Germany/Bregenz/Garmisch/Innsbruck west. Exit at Haiming/Ötztal and follow the B186 towards Ötztal/Haiming until you reach Zwieselstein. There take the Vent state road until you reach Venterstraße. Our hotel in Vent in the Ötztal valley is located on the left side of the road.
From west
If you are coming from west, pass the Arlberg tunnel and continue on the S16 and then on the A12. Exit at Haiming/Ötztal and follow the B186 towards Ötztal/Haiming until you reach Zwieselstein. There take the Vent state road until you reach Venterstraße. Our hotel in Vent in the Ötztal valley is located on the left side of the road.
From north
If you are coming on the A12, go towards Bregenz/Garmisch. Exit at Haiming/Ötztal and follow the B186 towards Ötztal/Haiming until you reach Zwieselstein. There take the Vent state road until you reach Venterstraße. Our hotel in Vent in the Ötztal valley is located on the left side of the road.
If you are traveling by train or plane, you can find a shuttle, which takes you from the Innsbruck airport or train station to our hotel in Vent in the Ötztal valley. If you need more information about the journey to our hotel, we are happy to help.
