In summer, the ski resort turns into a real gaming paradise. With the gondola you go up to the “Geisterberg” on the Gernkogel, a real leisure and adventure park. In summer, guests can enjoy a true children’s paradise: at the Alpendorf Adventure Playground you will find funcourts, a mini-go-cart track or disco boats. For the sportive there is a mini-golf course and a climbing area available.

In the “Ski amadé” even the youngest ones are introduced to the enjoyment of skiing. Numerous ski kindergartens and children’s ski schools gently support the ski gnome during the first turns and entice with a varied program.

At the hotel Berghof, the little ones also live big: In our children’s club, the young guests (from the age of 3 years) are well cared for by trained child minders. In summer there is childcare every day, in winter from Sunday to Friday, each including lunch.

Arrival by car

Coming from Salzburg, take the A10 Tauern motorway south towards Villach approx. 55 km to the exit "Pongau" (Sankt Johann - Bischofshofen), continue on the federal road B311 (pass the entrance to Sankt Johann) and only leave at the exit Sankt Johann-Süd in the direction of Großarl. The Berghof is the first hotel in the Alpendorf (opposite the Alpendorf gondola lift).

Sankt Johann im Pongau is well connected to the international railway network. We are happy to pick you up free of charge from the train station in St. Johann im Pongau.

The airport in Salzburg is only 63 km away from Sankt Johann im Pognau. We are happy to organise your transfer from Salzburg or Munich airports (230 km) on request.
