The Ski Resort
The Antuco Ski Centre is located in the Laguna del Laja National Park, just a few minutes' walk from the same-named lake. Nine kilometres of slopes on the north side of the Antuco volcano are available to guests here. Three lifts can be used at an altitude of 1,400 metres to 1,850 metres.
The terrain offers slopes for beginners to advanced skiers. The slopes suitable for beginners are located in the lower part of the ski area. Those who prefer more challenging runs may want to go to the upper area. The black routes dotted on the piste map are all unprepared pistes. There is also a ski hire shop and a ski school on site. In addition, snowmobile tours and snowshoe hikes are offered.
The ski area itself offers a unique view of the peak of the Antuco volcano and the lake landscape of the "Laguna del Laja" as well as surrounding mountain peaks such as the Sierra Velluda. With clear visibility, you can even see mountains across the border on the Argentinian side.
