The Bakuriani ski resort is one of the most popular ski areas in Georgia, made up of three separate, non-interconnected ski areas. With a total of 33 km of trails, 12 ski lifts, and a highest point of 2,702 meters, it’s a fantastic destination for both skiers and snowboarders. Bakuriani is particularly favored by families and young people, thanks to its variety of trails that cater to all skill levels.
 

  • Didveli: Didveli offers 11 runs of varying difficulty, covering a total of 14.9 km. The slopes are equipped with snow-making facilities, and night skiing is available from 17:00 to 21:30.
     
  • Kokhta: Kokhta has 2 ski lifts and 7.3 km of trails. Starting from the base station at 1,725 m, skiers can reach an elevation of 2,157 m. After being closed for 30 years, the ski lift was reopened in 2016.
     
  • Mitarbi: Mitarbi Ski Area features 3 ski lifts and offers 9.9 km of slopes, with the top station located at 2,000m above sea level.

Getting here

Bakuriani, located 180 km from Tbilisi, is easily accessible by public transport from Didube Bus Station or by taxi.

I do not advise you to go to Bakuriani.
The ski equipment for rent is awfully old, worn out and unreliable.
Communication between the three lifts is by taxi only.
Slopes are not processed every day...
