I live in Oberstdorf, so all ski areas in the area (Nebelhorn, Söllereck, Ifen, Fellhorn and Kanzelwandbahn are easy to reach). Nevertheless, Balderschwang is and remains my absolute favorite. Small, but something for everyone and especially in the high season not as crowded as the larger areas
Great with family too. On weekends something heavy with parking if nice weather alse be there early.

The ski area of Balderschwang extends over two hillside sides and offers pistes in all levels of difficulty. Due to the relatively old lifts, there can be long waiting times on andrangsstarken days.
