The Ski Resort
The tranquil village Borno lies at the altitude of 1000 Meters. Surrounded by a thick conifer belt the skiers descend on the slopes, which lead them through enchanting little forests down to the valley. Featuring 14 kilometers of slopes, Borno might not count among the biggest but among the most peaceful and most beautiful ski resorts in the region. Far from the centers of mass tourism and their turmoil the calm resort of Borno seems to be perfect for family ski holidays. The slopes are perfectly suitable for beginners and for advanced skiers. The local ski school helps the completely unexperienced to get their first ski holiday started. There are also some very picturesque and interesting cross-country ski-tracks for those who enjoy longer trips through the countryside.
