The Ski Resort
The small ski area in Etzelwang offers a drag lift, three downhill runs and a total of 1.8 km of pistes.
The 500 metre long Brennberg lift transports winter sports enthusiasts to the 567 metre high Brennberg. The easy family descent is ideal for beginners and children. Advanced skiers and snowboarders get their money's worth on the steep descent. The 650-metre-long tour downhill marked in red is also suitable for experienced winter sports enthusiasts. The team of the ski club Etzelwang entertains visitors in the lift house at the valley station of the Brennberg lift.
The Brennberg lift is open on Fridays from 2 pm to 5 pm and on weekends from 9 am to 5 pm. During the holidays it is open daily from 9 to 17 o'clock. On weekends, the Etzelwang Ski Club offers ski and snowboard courses for beginners and advanced skiers.

Activities
In the municipality of Etzelwang there are two cross-country trails available. You can access the 10 km long Etzelwang cross-country ski trail near the Brennberg lift. There are also several toboggan runs around the lift.
Getting here
By car:
Etzelwang can be reached from Nuremberg in less than an hour. Take the A6 towards Regensburg and leave it at the Afeld exit. Then take the Hersbrucker Straße to Talheim and continue on the Heldmannsberger Straße and Lehntalstraße to Etzelwang.
By public transport
The regional train in the direction of Neustadt brings winter sports enthusiasts from Nuremberg comfortably in 35 minutes from Nuremberg to Etzelwang. The ski lift is about eight minutes' walk from the train station.
