The Ski Resort
Santiago de Chile is about an hour's drive from Chapa Verde ski resort. Winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy the unique landscape at an altitude of up to 3050 metres on 20 kilometres of slopes. A total of four lifts are available. The ski area is run by the local ski club and offers both a ski school and a rental shop.
The terrain is not only suitable for beginners, but also for experienced skiers. There are runs for every level on site, from flat to challenging slopes. A suitable slope for intermediate skiers is "La Virgen". This runs from the top station of the "Chapa" lift to the bottom station of the "Padu" lift. Skiers with experience will enjoy the slopes near the "Indio" lift.
The area's valley offers plenty of food and drink. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available here. The offer ranges from fast food to international dishes and small snacks. There is also a restaurant in the ski area at the valley station of the "La Liebre" lift. Mostly European dishes from Spain and France, as well as barbecue, are served here.
