There are solely three difficult slopes but some very nice off-piste possibilities.

The ski resort offers only 3 demanding runs. The remaining runs are marked as intermediate slopes but are mostly quite easy. Therefore there is solely a very limited array of slopes which fit the expert skiers needs. However when snow conditions allow the very skilled winter athlete will find beautiful off-piste runs at the spots Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg. Furthermore a permanently ungroomed slope is available, which enables a safe free-ride adventure. Because of the fact that the inter-connecting lift facilities are mostly tow lifts or rather slow chair lifts the time you spend going uphill is sometimes very long. A positive aspect however is that all demanding trails are all situated in one corner of the ski resort Dachstein West. Therefore the expert skiers don’t have to search for the slopes of their preference.
