The Ski Resort
The family-oriented Sommet Edelweiss ski resort is located around 30 km north of Ottawa. 20 slopes of all levels of difficulty make the resort a great experience for the whole family. Especially for beginners and andvanced skiers the ski resort offers plenty. The beginners' slope "Zone Intro-Plus" is ideal for learning purposes. It can be reached via a beginner-friendly magic carpet. There are instruction boards here that explain the basics of skiing and snowboarding and show exercises. It is also possible to learn with ski or snowboard instructors. Courses of the "Snow School" are offered in groups or privately. In the Edelweiss SnowPark, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy jumps, tubes and other elements. There are no limits to creativity here.
Off the slopes
The snow tubing park offers a great variety from skiing. Non-skiers will also have a lot of fun with the tire tobogganing. If you have forgotten something at home, there is a store offering everything you need for outdoor activities. If you need rental equipment, that's no problem either. There is a ski rental shop in the valley. This also offers a repair service in case something breaks on your own equipment.

Snow Safety & Snowmaking
On Mountain Dining
There is a cafeteria on the second floor of the main building, which offers both hot and cold dishes. In addition to the cafeteria, there is also a bar in the valley of the resort. The "Easy Street Resto-Bar" is open Wednesday to Sunday. It offers a view over the illuminated slopes of the Sommet Edelweiss. Hot and cold dishes are also served here. There is also the option to bring your own food to Sommet Edelweiss. There are also individual outdoor picnic areas throughout the ski area.
Nightskiing
Every Tuesday to Saturday Night skiing is possible until 10 pm. Monday and Sunday this is possible until 9 pm. Night skiing is included in the day ticket. 15 of the overall 20 slopes are open for night skiing. An evening ticket is also available, which is valid from 4 pm. There is also a ticket for beginners, which is only valid from 4 pm and only for the beginners' slope.
