The Ski Resort
The ski lift in Falkenstein in the district of Cham is perfect for families. The 400-metre-long slope is easily marked and thus appeals especially to children and beginners. Very popular in Falkenstein is floodlit skiing, which is possible every Wednesday and Friday until 10 pm. But also during the day, especially on weekends, many winter sports enthusiasts come from the surrounding area.

Snow Safety & Snowmaking
On Mountain Dining
You can stop off at the ski lift hut, which is open daily from 14 o'clock in winter. Drinks and small meals are offered there. If at least 10 people book in advance, lunch will also be cooked.
Nightskiing
The floodlight on the ski slope is turned on every Wednesday and Friday from 19 to 22 o'clock.
Activities
Near the ski lift there is a sledge slope and there is the possibility of snowshoe hiking. Appropriate equipment, i.e. snowshoes, is available in the ski hut.
Falkenstein also has a large network of over 60 km of cross-country ski trails, which extend into the neighbouring communities of Rettenbach and Wiesenfelden.
Falkenstein Castle, the town's landmark, is also worth seeing at any time of year. In winter it is open from Thursday to Sunday.
Après-Ski and Nightlife
The ski lift hut is open from the beginning of November to the end of March every day except Thursdays from 2 pm and is therefore perfect for après ski.
Getting here
The ski lift in Falkenstein is located in the west of the village on the Krankenhausstraße. Parking spaces are available directly at the valley station.
