The Ski Resort
In 2022, the ski resort Genting Resort Secret Garden will host Freestyle and Snowboard competitions of the Winter Olympics. The ski resort features over 16km/9.9mi of slopes, 42 runs and five lifts.
The ski resort is located in the north east of the country, in Cohngli Country in the province Hebei amidst the Dama mountain range. Already, skiers of all skill levels find something at the resort. From the 42 runs, three are marked as easy, 20 as intermediate. Advanced skiers find 19 appropriate runs. Young snow sportsmen find their place at the Kids' Skiing Area next to Hotel Genting Grand at the base area.
Two terrain parks near the base station of No. 6 lift promise fun for freestylers and those aspiring to become one. Back-country skiers will also get their money's worth. Furthermore, you can do snowtubing next to the accommodation complex Genting Grand, where you can slide down the slope on rubber tires.
The lifts are produced by the Austrian Doppelmayr, and offer highest comfort and safety. Combination lift no. 1 gives you a choice between gondola and chair lift. To grab a bite to eat, try restaurant Jin Hua Ge at the highest point of the ski resort.

Getting here
Genting Resort Secret Garden is located around 220km/136.7mi north of Bejing. You can get there by coach in around 14 hours.
Trains go from Bejing to Shanlingzi West Railway Station. This is where coaches of line 1 or 10 leave for Zhangjakou. A bus takes you on to Chongli, where you have to get a taxi to Genting Resort Secret Garden. The journey takes aruond 6 hours.
