Carinthia's manageable "sports mountain"

The ski area "Goldeck" in Spittal an der Drau offers about 30 kilometers of slopes. It consists mainly of blue and red runs. The black-marked kilometers of slopes are almost entirely on the downhill slope to the valley (ski route). So the ski resort is best suited for beginners and advanced skiers without too much ambition. For the youngsters there is a children's land for practicing. There are plenty of places to stop for refreshments, which are well distributed throughout the ski area.

So if you have a not too far journey to Spittal / Drau, you can experience a nice day of skiing on Carinthia's sports mountain. For longer stays, however, the ski area may quickly become too small for sporty skiers.
