The Ski Resort
With around 14 kilometres of slopes, the Graukogel is the smallest of the four ski areas in the Gastein valley. Two double chair lifts and a t-bar lift take winter sports enthusiasts to the slopes. Most of these are located in the forest and are therefore protected from the wind.
Its long and mostly challenging slopes make the ski area especially popular with advanced and sporty skiers. A highlight for ambitious winter sports enthusiasts is the black Toni-Sailer run, which starts at the Graukogel top station. Since most of the slopes here are not artificially snowed in, you can still enjoy pure natural snow on the Graukogel.
There is no direct lift connection to the ski area Stubnerkogel-Angertal-Schlossalm in Bad Gastein. However, there is the possibility to change to the other ski areas in Gastein with the ski bus. From 1.5 days on, the ski passes are valid in the complete network Ski amadé. This means that all other ski areas in the Gastein valley (Sportgastein, Dorfgastein-Grossarl and Stubnerkogel-Schlossalm)
