Great Bear Recreation Park is located only 3 miles away from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It´s the perfect ski resort for the whole family. Here you get everything: skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, Cross-Country skiing and snow shoeing. There is a special beginner area so you can learn in your own speed without being bothered by more advanced skiers and riders. Staff at the Snowsports School will be happy to help you to expand on your skills no matter if your a child or an adult, beginner or advanced.
The terrain park offers a variety of boxes and rails and also has a half pipe that will please any freestyle skier or rider. If you´re not that much into skiing you should try snow tubing. You don´t need any experience. Just hop on your tube and slide down the chutes!
