Gulmarg Resort

Gulmark ski resort is located in North-West India, at the Himalaya. A gondola takes you up to 3,980m/13,058ft above sea level, which makes the area one of the highest ski resorts in the world. From the top station on Mt Apharwat you enjoy a great view over Cashmere valley and at the 8,126m/16,660ft high Naga Parbat mountain.

Gulmarg is particularly popular with backcountry skiers and powder fans, as the 1.3 ha resort only features two groomed slopes, located at the mid station of the gondola and at the chair lift. The rest is backcountry area full of untouched deep snow. Heli-skiing is also offered at Gulmarg.

You can fly to Srinagar via Delhi. From there, the ski resort is approximately 60km/37.3mi away.
