The Ski Resort
The small ski resort of Hatsvali near Mestia is located in the north-west of Georgia in the Greater Caucasus. You can find a total of 5.6km of groomed slopes to ski or snow board on. From the base station at 1,467m, four lifts get you at up to 2,348m above sea level. The new 6-person chair Hatsvali Lift-E was opened in 2017.
Since there are easy as well as intermediate runs, beginners and more experienced skiers will both enjoy the ski resort Hatsvali-Mestia. Furthermore, Mestia offers numerous opportunities for backcountry skiing and ski tours. You can find a few more ski slopes at the nearby ski resort Tetnuldi.

Coming from Mestia city centre, turn onto Zugdidi Jvari Mestia Lasdili. After 2.5km/1.6mi, turn slightly right to continue to Hatsvali-Mestia.
