Hochkönig offers skilled skiers the ultimate mountain experience
Most striking when taking a look at the trail map is the extent of this beautiful European ski resort. It will probably even take the skilled skiers at least one whole day to get from one end of the ski resort to the other and take advantage of every single slope. A little downer is the rather difficult transfer from “Hinterthal” to “Hintermoos”. “Hintermoos” can only be accessed via very long and flat terrain that even stretches a little bit uphill at times. But after having overcome this obstacle winter athletes can enjoy the broad and beautiful descents at “Aberg-Langeck” and “Maria Alm”. But the only way back to “Hinterthal” is by bus. This service is of course free of charge and available every half –hour. The dazzling array of 14 beautiful intermediate descents will truly satisfy the advanced skiers. Especially the slopes number 11 and 13 as well as the descent “Gabühel” are quite recommendable terrain for experienced winter enthusiast. The difficult slopes shouldn’t be too challenging for the skilled and sportive skiers either.
