The Ski Resort
The skiing area in the Berchtesgadener Land presents itself centrally and sunny located with a variety of winter sports possibilities. A large, free and centrally located parking lot, directly at the Hirscheck chairlift, saves the guest long walking distances and is an ideal meeting point. Should you need help getting on the ski lifts, the lift staff will of course be happy to help you.
The Hirscheck chairlift and two T-bar lifts open up four easy slopes and all this at family-friendly prices. Especially for those who have only just discovered skiing, the ski area offers the ideal conditions to become an expert soon.

- It is among the 10 most family-friendly ski Resorts in Germany.
- The vertical drop from summit to base is 361 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Germany is 214 m. Most runs are therefore relatively long. The high point of the ski resort is located at an elevation of 1,391 m.
- Average snow depth during the season is 64 cm at summit elevation and 40 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 71 cm at summit elevation and 44 cm at the base.
- Hochschwarzeck features 31 sunny days on average per season. The average for all ski Resorts in Germany is 15 sunny days. January is the sunniest month with an average of 15 sunny days.

Tobogganing fans can also enjoy a 2.3 km long natural toboggan run that will delight young and old alike. A special tobogganing ticket is available at the Hirscheck chairlift.
