The Ski Resort
The small ski area Hofeck is located in the district Hof of the municipality Bernau in the Black Forest. Two lifts take skiers up to 1,415 metres. In total there are about four kilometres of slopes available. Experienced drivers will find here several medium and heavy slopes with an inclination of up to 40%. There is even a FIS homologated departure here.
Together with the Spitzenberg and Köpfle ski areas, the Hofeck ski lifts belong to the Bernau Lifte network.

On Mountain Dining
At the IGLU mountain station you have a great view of the Swiss Alps when the weather is clear. You can also enjoy the sun on a deckchair. To relax you also need a pretzel and a Rothaus Zäpfle.
Those who no longer feel like skiing will find the Liftstüble at the Talstaion and can warm up there with small dishes and hot drinks. On weekends the barbecue bar is also open outside. Here you will find barbecue sausages, crepes and hot drinks.
Must-Ski Runs
For professionals the FIS route is exactly the right thing. Here there are always big ski races in slalom or giant slalom and also parallel slaloms are held.

Getting here
From Freiburg take the B 31 to Kirchraten and then turn right onto the L 126. Via Oberried and Todtnau take the B 317 and in Gschwend turn left towards Bernau in the Black Forest. Shortly before the village turn left to Hof. There the Hofstraße and the Hofeckweg lead to the ski lift. Two large free parking spaces are available directly at the valley station.
