The Ski Resort
In the Ore Mountains lies the modest but fine ski area Holzhau, which is one of the most beautiful ski areas in the Ore Mountains. From December to March, the snow conditions here are excellent, which can be helped by a modern snowmaking system if necessary.
Beginners can learn the basics of winter sports in the ski and snowboard courses of the ski school. For snowboarders there is even a fun park where they can enjoy themselves and try out daring stunts.
Every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 16.30 to 23 o'clock there is night skiing with barn party. On Sundays, the lifts are also open longer (until 8 p.m.) when snow conditions are good.
