Hurricane Ridge is a lovely family oriented ski area located west of the Seattle area on the Olympic Peninsula which is circumvent by U.S. Highway 101. At Hurricane Ridge you get a superb winter experience without the high costs of many ski areas. It offers perfectly groomed trails for beginner and intermediate skiers and riders as well as steeps and glades for experts. With an average snowfall of over 10 meters it provides reliable snow conditions. Hurricane Ridge has over 50 years of experience in teaching people how to ski. The ski school is open to everyone no matter of which age or ability level. A very special program is the 5 week program for ages 4 and up. Besides skiing and snowboarding you have the opportunity to go Cross Country skiing at Hurricane Ridge. The routes are unmarked and ungroomed so you can explore the area around. In addition, these routes are also open for snowshoeing. Wander through forests and meadows and leave the world behind.
