The Ski Resort
Isaberg near Hestra is one of the largest ski areas in southern Sweden. The eleven slopes are mainly in the easy to intermediate category. Sporty skiers will also find a black run at the Isaberg Express 6-seater chairlift. The Funline next to the blue Dalbacken slope (No.7) also provides variety. Beginners can practice their first turns on the practice slopes Lillbacken (No. 1) and Barnbacken (No. 2) with a platter lift and a magic carpet.

Activities
A highlight off the slopes is the toboggan run, which is open all year round. The Isaberg Rodel Adventure run is 1,000 metres long.
Around the Isaberg there are also opportunities for cross-country skiing, e.g. at Hestra Isamon or the Isaberg Golf Course.

Getting here
Isaberg Mountain Resort is located in the south of Sweden near Hestra. Gothenburg is about 130 kilometres away. From there, take Route 40 to Borås and then Route 27 via Tranemo towards Gislaved. After about 50 kilometres, turn left towards Hestra.
Parking and access to the ski area is in the middle of the ski area at the Roupez ski rental and sports shop.
