Modern, spacious, quick: The Idalp and Pardorama Panorama Restaurants
Overall, visitors can choose between 14 mountain restaurants and ski lodges within the Silvretta Arena. You can access the Panoramarestaurant on the 2,300 m Idalp via the Fimbabahn (A3) or Silvrettabahn (A1) directly from the town centre of Ischgl. In addition to a self-service section and kindergarten area, the restaurant also has an à la carte section with waiters, specialising in international cuisine. If you are looking for an even more spectacular view to enjoy over your lunch, then the Pardorama on 2,600 m Pardatschgrat is the place to head for. This contemporary three-floor construction made of glass and steel provides breath-taking views of the surrounding peaks on both sides of the border. If the weather is fine, you can also soak up the winter sunshine on one of the numerous deck chairs available in front of the Pardorama.
Disco sounds and Austrian cuisine at Paznauner Taja
In 2006, Paznauner Taja at the valley station of the lift of the same name received the award “Best après-ski lodge in the Alps”. The food in the self-service area and the restaurant is traditional and down-to-earth, while the sundeck offers a relatively sheltered spot which is often bathed in sunshine.
Vider Alp: Our tip for a traditional meal on the mountain
The Vider Alp, located on the sunny side of the Idalp, was a favourite with our test team. It is a contemporary if rustic small restaurant with a quintessential ski lodge atmosphere. There is a lovely sheltered sun deck in the outdoor area, as well as a small bar with music and a selection of deck chairs available.
