Usually the ski season in Kappl runs from mid December to mid April. The skiing area extends from 1180 to 2690 meters. Should "Mother Holle" not be able to do her job sufficiently, modern snow-making equipment provides the necessary snow right down to the valley. Due to that the red valley run no. 4 is also open almost the whole season.
