The Ski Resort
The longest freeride run in Germany - the Dammkar run - is located in Mittenwald. At the base station there is a ski test centre. From there it takes 10 minutes by gondola to the top station. There you can enjoy a snack in the mountain restaurant before the descent.
Because whether you are a skier, snowboarder or ski tourer, the legendary downhill run is challenging and should only be taken by experienced winter sports enthusiasts. At the Karwendel, the route starts at an altitude of 2244 metres and leads down into the valley. For seven kilometres all freeriders can enjoy the ungroomed descent, the rocky backdrop and the view of the Isar valley.
