Keystone: World-class ski resort for off-piste fans!

The best keystone has to offer is without doubt to be found at the outer parts of the skiresort. A glance at the trail map reveals where the nicest “black diamond” terrain is located in the “Independence Bowl”, "Bergman Bowl", "Erickson Bowl", "North Bowl" or "South Bowl". Advantageous for experts is the fact that this terrain is not accessible with lift facilities but requires quite a walk (sometimes up to 3 km). Therefore few winter athletes venture into the powder grounds and chances for a “First Track” are relatively high. Experts who prefer the groomed to the ungroomed terrain will be enthused by the “NASTAR Racing Area” at the “Summit Express” (see trail map). Permanent Slalom and Giant Slalom training tracks are to be found there. We recommend expert skiers to definitely ski the tree runs in “The Windows” area! Just keep in mind to always think ahead a bit as the trees will not pardon any mistake! Keystone receives 4.5 out of 5 stars in the expert category and therefore receives the award “Top for experts”!
