The Ski Resort
Kreuzberg is located amidst the Bavarian Rhön. It is the biggest ski resort of the region and has something for everyone who loves skiing or snowboarding.
Here you can enjoy perfectly groomed trails. Amongst others you can try the longest and steepest run of the entire Rhön area.
Whether you prefer downhill skiing, cross-country or snow-shoeing, you will find a wide range of fun activities.
There are ski schools, ski jumps and toboggan runs as well as horse sleigh rides through the winter wonderland if you prefer it little more calmed down.
The centers for downhill skiing around Bischofsheim are Kreuzberg and Arnsberg. Wasserkuppe is a little more distant. Cross country is best in the Hochrhön area and around Kreuzberg.

- The vertical drop from summit to base is 318 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Germany is 214 m. Most runs are therefore relatively long. The highest point of the track is 928 m above sea level.
- Average snow depth during the season is 17 cm at summit elevation and 6 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during January, offering an average snow depth of 23 cm at summit elevation and 11 cm at the base.
