A true gem has emerged at Kühtai in the past few years. At almost 7,000 ft, snow is usually guaranteed from November to the end of April. A variety of runs, mostly modern facilities, and perfectly groomed slopes appeal to beginners and experts alike. Families enjoy hotels and appartments right by the slopes. Kids are taken excellent care of at Kühtai's kids' area with its magic carpet.
Kühtai is home to KPark, the biggest terrain park there is, and SuperPipe right next to it. Along with KidsPark, that range makes every free rider's heart beat faster. The only thing that's missing at Kühtai are unique huts and excessive après-ski – but that is bearable.
If you have never been to Kühtai, you should absolutely go – a great insider tip, it is also relatively inexpensive. Ski passes are valid at the neighbouring resort Hochoetz as well, making a total of 80 kilometres (50 miles) of slopes available.
