The Ski Resort
The Lagunillas ski area is located only 65 kilometres from the capital, Santiago de Chile. 13 kilometres of pistes provide slopes for every skill level. The area covers 200 hectares and has three lifts. It is suitable for beginners as well as advanced skiers due to its varied landscape.
A special highlight is the off-piste area. These areas can be reached with the "La Lola" and "Pancho" lifts. The terrain is challenging and not supervised.
As the only ski area not run commercially in Chile, it is managed by the local Club Andino. There is a ski school and ski rental on site. In the ski area there is the restaurant "La Francisca", which has a sunny terrace. In the valley there is also the "Refugio Club Andino" and other accommodation.
