In the regional nature reserve Haut-Jura located between France and Switzerland lies the skiing area Les Rousses, offering 48 km (30 mi) of slopes. 
Off the mainstream runways, one can discover several varied ski-runs in the five skiing areas of the region, where both beginners as well as advanced skiers and snowboarders will enjoy themselves thoroughly. All fans of winter sports can experience their runway pleasure having a choice between four villages to start from. Les Rousses has a lot of stunning landscapes to offer. Skiing along gentle slopes between firs and spruces and enjoying a view on the Alps, the Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva will make your visit special. 
Les Rousses offers slopes for Alpine snow sports lovers of any level. Furthermore, it is one of the largest skiing areas for Nordic snow sports. You can go on and discover the whole area whilst cross-country skiing on 220 km (137 mi) of ski trails.
