The Ski Resort
In the regional nature reserve Haut-Jura located between France and Switzerland lies the skiing area Les Rousses, offering 48 km (30 mi) of slopes.

Skiing along gentle slopes between firs and spruces and enjoying a view on the Alps, the Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva will make your visit special.
Les Rousses offers slopes for Alpine snow sports lovers of any level. Furthermore, it is one of the largest skiing areas for Nordic snow sports. You can go on and discover the whole area whilst cross-country skiing on 220 km (137 mi) of ski trails.

- The vertical drop from summit to base is 560 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in France is 1,077 m. Runs and slopes are therefore relatively short. The ski resort takes you to an elevation of 1,680 m.
- Average snow depth during the season is 68 cm at summit elevation and 20 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during April, offering an average snow depth of 87 cm at summit elevation and 10 cm at the base.
