The Ski Resort
The Lorica ski resort is located in the province of Cosenza in southern Italy at an altitude of 1405 to 1877 metres and covers a total of 20 kilometres of pistes. With 10 kilometres of blue marked runs, 7 kilometres of red and 3 kilometres of black runs there is something for everyone. The less steep hills are particularly popular with families and beginners. More experienced skiers and snowboarders can try the challenging slopes. A total of 4 ski lifts and 3 magic carpets are available for children
Interesting facts
- The vertical drop from summit to base is 472 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Italy is 979 m. Runs and slopes are therefore relatively short. The highest point of the track is 1,877 m above sea level.

Getting here
The ski area is about 65 km from Cosenza . Take the E846 until the exit direction Lorica. Follow the SP211 for 11 kilometres and then turn right onto the SS108. After another 6 kilometres turn right again towards Via Giovanni Altomare and continue to the ski area.
