The Ski Resort
McCauley Mountain Ski Area is located in the central Adirondack Mountains. The ski area offers more than 28 hectares of skiable terrain and there are 21 trails to be discovered. They are designed for different levels of ability. The amount of beginner intermediate and expert trails is almost balanced with slightly more expert trails. Hence, this is a fun ski area for everyone and it really is very popular amongst families. McCauley Mountain offers all the amenities of a "big mountain" ski area. However, you don´t get the crowds, long lift lines and overpriced lift tickets! The Snow Sports School is open to everyone. Expert instructors will introduce you to the fun of skiing or help you to brush up your skills. You can choose from private, semi-private and group lessons. While at McCauley you shouldn´t miss a ride with the chairlift to the summit! You will get breathtaking views of the surrounding area including views of Whiteface Mountain and Mount Marcy on the horizon.
