Mont du Lac Resort

Mont du Lac is a lovely little ski area in north Wisconsin. It is a great ski area for the whole family! The amount of beginner, intermediate and expert trails is fairly balanced so everyone can have fun here. Beginners can take some lessons. Qualified staff will teach you everything you need to know to become a safe and confident skier or rider. Kids can also participate in the Holiday Camp which is a 4 day program right after Christmas or Kids Club a season long program. Learn how to ski and ride, have a whole lot of fun and meet new friends! Furthermore, there is a snowtubing hill available. If you like sledding you will definitely love snowtubing! There are 4 chutes avialable plus they are lighted in the evening hours. The best about Mont du Lac, however, is that you get all this at affordable prices! 

We have snowmaking available on 9 or our 11 runs so we can get open eariler and stay open longer. Our state the are groomer keeps the runs in tip top shape.

Our Base Lodge offers a ski resort style menu made to oder with fresh ingredients. After a day on the slopes enjoy and juicy grilled burger, specialty sandwich or if you want something a little lighter one of our gourmet wraps might hit the spot.

Ride Run is a must ski. It is our longest run and is great for all ability levels. Beginners will enjoy the gentle run for their first time up the chairlift and advanced skiers and riders can really carve it up.

The Bowl is the run to take if steeps are your thing. This 10 acre western style bowl has steep drops and varying terrain and snow conditions to challenge the best skiers and riders.

9 of our 11 runs are open for night skiing and so is snowtubing! Join us under the lights and extend the fun. Join us afterward for drinks and apps in the bar.

No Equipment? No Problem! Our rental shop has the latest in ski and snowboard equipment and helmets for rent. Sizes from toddler to adult.

Our instructors have a passion for teaching and are waiting show you the ropes. We offer private lessons for ages 2 and up. We have progressive programs for kids and adult.

We are located just 15 minutes from downtown Duluth/Superior.

We are just off MN Hwy 23 next to the St Louis River

From the Twin Cities take I35 north to exit 195. Travel on MN 23 about 45 miles. Mont du Lac will be on your right before the St. Louis River bridge.
