Terrain parks for all ability levels!

In European ski resorts lift facilities give access to almost the entire mountain, but in New Zealand you have to search yourself for the nicest descent into the valley. Mt Hutt is a true paradise for all those that are constantly on the lookout for “First Track” – experiences and pristine slopes. The “Rakia Saddle Chutes” area (only accessible in case of good snow cover) is solely for skiers and boarders who are experts in the deep snow department. Also the very difficult runs in the “South Face” area (see trail map) are only for boarders who are strong of leg, lung and courage. Those who prefer to spend the day practicing stunts in the terrain parks can do so in the two “Up & Go” terrain parks located below the “Summit Six” chairlift. The terrain parks feature jumps and rails from easy to extreme. The so called “Dirty Dog Halfpipe” located between “Summit Six” and “Towers Triple Chair” tops off the excellent array for boarders.
