Mt Southington Ski Area

Mt Southington is located only 35 minutes away from New Haven and only 2 hours from New York. Due to its location next to Interstate 84 it is easily accessible from practically anywhere in Connecticut! Mt Southington is the perfect ski area for the entire family. It offers 20 hectares of skiable terrain with trails designed for all levels of ability. The amount of beginner, intermediate and expert runs is fairly balanced so everyone will find their favorite run. The Ski School offers a large amount of different programs. It focuses especially on the little ones having a separate learning area called The Glacier Learning Area where children can learn undisturbed. Nonetheless, the Ski School is also open to adults. There is also a Terrain Park full of great features such as rails and boxes available where freestylers and those who want to become one can have some fun.
