The Ski Resort
Nevis Range ski resort is located at the Scottish Highlands, at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. 74 gondolas, each taking up to 6 adults, transport skiers, snowboarders and even mountain bikers up the slopes of Aonach Mor. Skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels will find suitable runs here. Most of the slopes are intermediate.
Moreover, the winter sports area is a backcountry paradise. The so-called Back Corries at Nevis Range are often called the 'gem' of Scottish skiing. However, the off-piste tours are only for experienced skiers and snowboarders.
Nevis Range spent £1 million on infrastructure improvements for the 2019/2020 season. The beginners' area was doubled in size to about 100 square meters. A new 80 meter long conveyor lift was also installed, significantly improving the snowsport experience for beginners. The area is located very conveniently for the winter sports enthusiasts, only 15 meters from the Gondola Top Station. New snow fences were also built here to help catch natural snow and keep the snow in place.

Snow Safety & Snowmaking
Nevis Range invested in a new snow making plant for the 2019/2020 season. It produces up to 155 tons of flake ice per day. At the same time, The plant needs significantly less water than a snow gun to produce its snow.
On Mountain Dining
Enjoy warm meals and drinks with a view of Aonach Mor mountain at Snowgoose Restaurant by the gondola's top station. You can look forward to freshly made dishes, snacks, cake and coffee, made of regional ingredients whenever possible.
At the base station of Aonach Mor, you can enjoy the culinary delights of the region, or warm up with a hot drink at Pinemarten Cafe.

Activities
Nevis Range is a year-round mountain resort. Besides skiing and snowboarding, it is known for its mountain biking opportunities. Mountain bikers can use the same gondolas as skiers and snowboarders. 48 kilometers of mountain bike trails are found here, as well as cross-country and downhill mountain bike trails. A round of the Mountain Bike World Cup is also held here.
Another exciting activity you can try at Nevis Range is a high ropes course. If you're not in the mood for too much sports, you can also take a walk and enjoy some of the great views the mountain area has to offer.
Infrastructure & Rental
The resort offers both a snowsports school and the opportunity to rent the necesary equipment. Thanks to the infrastructural improvments prior to December 2019, especially beginners can now enjoy improved and expanded winter sports facilities.
Getting here
The ski resort is located at Scotlands west coast, near Fort William. It is a 3 hours' drive from Edinburgh. Coming from Edinburgh, follow A9 to General Wade's Military Rd / A889. Continue on A86 to Spean Bridge, and then on A82 to Nevis Range Mountain Resort.
