The Ski Resort
In the small ski area Nordenau in the Sauerland you have 0.4 km of pistes for skiing and snowboarding at your disposal. The winter sports area lies at an altitude of 565 to 610 metres. The ski lift on the north slope in Nordenau takes you up. The short but demanding slope is popular with children and adults alike.

- The day pass at Nordenau Schmallenberg is €13 making it one of the 3 cheapest ski Resorts in North Rhine-Westphalia.
- Snow coverage is usually best during March, offering an average base depth of 15 cm.
Activities
Around the ski lift Nordenau there are also cross-country ski runs for classic cross-country skiing or skating, which you can use after skiing.
Getting here
Coming from Dortmund you drive on the A44 to the motorway junction 54-Kreuz Werl and continue on the A46. You leave the highway at exit 69-Enste. Via Meschede and Remblinghausen you continue on the L740. At Westernbödefeld turn right and then left and follow the L776. At Bad Fredeburg take the third exit at the roundabout. At Gleidorf turn right onto the B236, which you leave left again at Oberkirchen. After 2 kilometres turn left and continue to the ski lift.
