The Ski Resort
Near Innsbruck skiers and snowboarders find the sunny ski area Oberperfuss Rangger Köpfl. With 17 km of pistes it offers a good mix of difficulty levels and is especially attractive for relaxed skiers and families.
The Kidspark at the middle station of the Peter-Anich-Bahn offers the best conditions for the first attempts on the boards with a magic carpet and the Stiglreith exercise lift. While stopping at one of the three huts you can enjoy the wonderful panoramic view of Innsbruck and the Inn valley and fortify yourself with typical Tyrolean specialities.
Interesting facts
- The vertical drop from summit to base is 1,180 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Austria is 719 m. Most runs are therefore relatively long. The ski resort takes you to an elevation of 2,000 m.
- Average snow depth during the season is 66 cm at summit elevation and 20 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 72 cm at summit elevation and 24 cm at the base.
- Oberperfuss Rangger Köpfl features 37 sunny days on average per season. The average for all ski Resorts in Austria is 33 sunny days. February is the sunniest month with an average of 16 sunny days.

On Mountain Dining
The Panorama-Restaurant Stiglreuth is located at the middle station of the Peter-Anich-Bahn. It invites winter sports enthusiasts with delicious traditional food to take a break and children feel particularly at home at the restaurant's playground. On the sun terrace visitors get a wonderful view into the Inn valley.
At the base station of the Ranggerköpfllift is the Self-service Restaurant Sulzstich, which also has a large sun terrace. It is also characterized by its rustic Tyrolean architectural style.
Quaint is also the highest hut in the ski area, the Rosskogelhütte. From here you get a particularly good view over the Inn valley and the surrounding mountain landscape.

Activities
Oberperfuss also has something to offer off-piste. In addition to numerous hiking trails and traditional gastronomic facilities, the 10 kilometre natural toboggan run is a highlight for old and young guests. Until the beginning of March, the toboggan run is illuminated until midnight on Tuesdays and Fridays in good snow conditions. On these toboggan evenings the ascent with the gondola from 18:30 to 21:30 is possible.

From and to Innsbruck a ski bus brings the winter sports enthusiasts daily to the ski area free of charge. From the Tyrolean Oberland (Zirl, Flauring) the free ski bus runs on weekends and Christmas and semester holidays.
By car you reach Oberperfuss via the Inntal motorway (A 12). Leave the motorway at the Zirl-Ost/Kematen exit and continue in the direction of Sellraintal. At the roundabout take the turn-off to Oberperfuss. From Innsbruck it is only a 20 minute drive to the ski area.
For Ski tourers a separate parking place with reduced fees is available. It is located about 250 meters from the base station of the Peter-Anich-Bahn.
