The Ski Resort
Pajarito Mountain Ski Area is located in the Jemez Mountains right above Los Alamos. It only takes you 45 minutes to get there from Santa Fe. If you´re looking for a place without large crowds and great tree skiing this is the right spot for you! Pajarito Mountain offers 113 hectares of skiable terrain with 45 trails. Explore wide cruisers as well and steep challenging terrain with bumps. There is also a Terrain Park available where freestylers can show off. Although there is no Nordic trail system at Pajarito Mountain you have the opportunity for Nordic/Cross Country skiing in Santa Fe State Park. At the Snowsports School certified instructors will help you to learn the proper techniques. Choose from private, group and multiple week formats! Certainly, an exciting day on the mountain will make you hungry. Take a break at the Cafe and treat yourself with something to eat and a hot beverage!
