The Ski Resort
Paseky nad Jizerou ski area is located at the western border of the Giant Mountains amidst a national park. Its origins date back to the 16th century and it is a popular destination for some recreation today. Thus, besides the ski area there are many cultural highlights to see such as the baroque church of Saint Vaclav of the year 1789 or the Giant Mountains museum.
The ski area itself offers 10 km of trails that are all easiest and intermediate ones. 5 lifts are in service. Moreover, there is a snowmaking system available in case there is not enough snow. Paseky nad Jizerou has everything you need: ski service, ski rental and ski schools are available. In addition, there is a new snowpark available for snowboarders and Nordic skiers have access to some cross country tracks. If you think the ski area is too small for you you also have the opportunity to purchase a lift ticket for the entire terrain of SKIREGION.CZ which means you also have access to the ski areas Harrachov, Rokytnice nad Jizerou, Rejdice and Prichovice.
