Alp Planneralm with its location up to 2.200 meters is the highest situated ski village in Styria. There are five lifts, of which are two chair lifts and three T-bar lifts. Once there, skiers and snowboarders have 16 kilometres of predominantly red marked pistes at their disposal, which are exclusively prepared with natural snow.

Beginners feel comfortable at T-bar "Kleine Rotbühellift". A simple ski slope marked in blue runs along the lift and is perfect for practising your first turns and gaining safety on the boards. Kids are taught the fun of winter sports in the kids area next to lift "Gläserboden". There is also a practice lift and very flat slopes for safe practice.

Advanced skiers will find the largest offer on alp Planneralm. Eleven of the 15 kilometres of slopes in the ski area are marked in red. From the top station of Plannereck chair lift two departures lead back to the bottom station. The also moderately difficult slope no. 6 brings skiers and snowboarders to the valley station of Rotbühel chair lift. If you go back uphill with it, you will get back to Plannereck chair lift via slope no. 4.

Experts should use lift "Gläserboden". From the top station the black marked steep slope no. 7 starts. If you don't dare to do it yet, you can leave the lift at the intermediate exit and take the red marked descent back to the valley. There is another challenging piste at Plannereck chair lift: Variant no. 3 brings sporty skiers to the red marked valley run with many bends. In addition, there are several unprepared ski routes with a high degree of difficulty, such as no. 8 along lift "Gläserbode", no. 5 at lift "Rotbühel" or no. 1 along Plannereck chair lift.

Also Freestyler and Freerider will get their money's worth at alp Planneralm. The Snowvalley Park at T-Bar "Kleine Rotbühellift" has a kicker line, a rail park, a corner, a wallride as well as several backcountry spots and freeride lines. The funslope "kidS-Rodeo" provides fun for kids.
